No call centre

We do not have a call centre; families meet their identified Service Manager and senior staff, with on-call support available in an emergency.

Our services

Practical care that starts with the life already being lived.

Lavender provides high quality care and support solutions to people within their own home and assists them to access their local community and health care services.

Care Advice

Lavender assesses the situation, talks through the support that best fits the care need, and signposts to other organisations where another route is more suitable.

Domestic Support

Support can include light domestic duties, looking after the home environment, sorting cupboards, reminders for household routines, and help with beloved animals.

Home Care

Care packages are tailored around individual choices, health and social care needs, including personal care, live-in care, reablement, respite, appointments and social access.

Specialist Care

Lavender lists support for dementia, Parkinson's, Motor Neurone Disease, Huntington's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, brain injury, physical disabilities and end of life care.

Specialist support

Dementia, reablement, respite and live-in care are visible from the start.

Lavender can offer a rapid set up of care when needed, increase or decrease care when needed, and specialises in stepping in quickly after hospital discharge or a dementia diagnosis.

Lavender handover

The small details that make care feel less fragmented.

First call

A practical conversation with the local office, not a generic call-centre script.

Care setup

Rapid setup when needed, with care increased or decreased as circumstances change.

Care team

A regular team of carers wherever possible, so trust can build at home.

Reviews

Ongoing reviews and updated support plans as care needs change.

For families

A route into care that explains what happens next.

Advice first

A free, non-committal advisory conversation helps families understand what support might fit.

Assessment and plan

A pre-assessment leads to a person-centred support plan and risk assessments around the person's own routines.

Funding signposting

The team can advise on care funding routes and signpost when another organisation is better placed to help.

Regular reviews

Care packages are reviewed so changes in circumstances are addressed rather than left to drift.

What families notice

Regular, cheerful carers matter.

My carers are always bright and cheerful. I have regular competent carers who I can't praise highly enough.
